Our Story

In 1998, Mário Guarda de Sousa and his father started a company called Joaquim Antunes de Sousa e Filho, Lda, now SA, (JASFIL, SA) specializing in real estate in the housing construction sector and part of the Sousa Group.
A few years later, Mário and his wife acquired 100% of the company’s capital.
Paula Sousa is responsible for design and promotion and Mário for the entire operation.
JASFIL has been working continuously in the construction industry for more than twenty-five years, even at the height of the national economic crisis, with a track record of more than 50000m² of urban construction and 40000m² of logistics.
Located in the city of Montijo, JASFIL has the capacity to design, urbanize, build from scratch or rehabilitate buildings, villas, commercial or residential properties.
All its constructions have a common element: excellence, quality and innovation in every aspect, right down to the smallest detail.
Until 2019, all the work carried out by JASFIL was based on projects acquired with structures and architectures already defined, until the company’s directors decided to take a risk and create a development all defined by JASFIL – PINUS URBAN GARDEN.
